Corvallis, January 25, 2017: The application process for Benton Habitat for Humanity’s next Partner Family Selection is now open. The upcoming meetings (below) will outline the home that will be coming available and the necessary qualifications of a Habitat Partner Family:
Tuesday, January 31, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
United Pentecostal Church at 444 NW 15th St, Corvallis, OR
Friday, February 3, 3:30pm to 5:30pm
First United Methodist at 1165 NW Monroe Ave, Corvallis, OR
Monday, February 6, 5:30pm to 8:00pm
First Christian Church at 602 SW Madison Ave, Corvallis, OR
Thursday, February 9, 3:00pm to 5:30pm
Grace Lutheran Church at 435 NW 21st St Corvallis, OR
Families are considered for the housing program based on the following criteria:
- Have a need for adequate shelter.
- Have financial stability to pay mortgage.
- Be willing to partner with Habitat & provide “sweat equity.”
- Are currently a resident of Benton County.
- Be able to verify citizenship or permanent residency.
Benton Habitat for Humanity observes fair housing laws and therefore does not base family selection on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, handicap, or national origin.
