Home Construction, ReStore, & Other Volunteer Needs.
Home Construction – We are always looking for willing volunteers for our home construction. Currently, we are building two homes at 5th and B. St. in Corvallis. No experience necessary! Come swing a hammer or a shovel and build hope in our community. We build every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9am-3pm. We also have construction opportunities through our Home Repair Initiative (HRI). This program assists low-income homeowners with small repair projects. Homeowners must meet requirements for income, sweat equity, and need. Through HRI, we can help families stay in their home longer, live healthier, provide safer conditions, and improve the value of their home. We are always looking for volunteers for our various HRI projects throughout the year.
To sign up for home construction, follow these three easy steps. NOTE: Those wanting to volunteer as a group should contact Daniel Sidder at 541-752-3354 ext. 304 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Orientation – It is important to us that volunteers understand the mission of Habitat for Humanity and become familiar with basic construction safety before beginning to volunteer.
Safety Video – Safety is the number one concern on our jobsite, and all volunteers need to watch this informative video and take note of all safety regulations while on site. Enter access code W8NAEBTG. Also, be sure to print and sign our waiver, which you can bring to the jobsite the day you volunteer. ((Not sure how to link this?))
